First of the 2018 IAM CPD Events Open For Registration

The first of the Institute of Administrative Managements CPD events have been announced and open for registration. The IAM runs national CPD events throughout the year, giving its members and other administrative professionals, including PA’s, EA’s and office managers the opportunity to build their knowledge and network.

Tuesday 6th February: Top 10 Tips to De-stress Your Events

6:00pm – 8:30pm (coffee from 6pm); Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre, 25 Aytoun Street, Manchester, M1 3AE.

This event will look to give you essential tips to keep you one step ahead of the unexpected, including: Handling venue fails, delegate disasters and minimising no shoes and overcoming the daunting feeling of “it’s just me”. This will be a great session, whether you are a seasoned pro or new in organising events, whether it be a small gathering or conference.

Guest speaker Gurinder Whall who started her 20 years of event experience as a programme administrator, she fully understands that practical support and useful event management tools make all the difference if you have to hit the ground running.

Tuesday 20th February: Managing Your Mindset

When it comes to success, nothing can propel you forward (or hold you back) like your own mind set. Charlotte Wibberley is a business coach, online business strategist and VA trainer. At this session she will be sharing her experiences of how her mind set evolved through evolved through her PA journey, the leap into running her business and onwards to leading an industry organisation.

This session is a great opportunity for PA’s, EA’s, office managers and administrative professionals to find out more how you can change your mind set and listen to someone else’s experiences.
