Office*2013 was a huge success with attendances up on previous years, and that has been reflected in the large number of new members we welcomed to our stand.

Once again taking place over 2 days, (8th and 9th October), the show had an action-packed line-up of free and feature seminars, inter-active panel sessions, first-class speakers, leading-edge experts, and more than 175 exhibitors – there will be much more from us in our newsletter of 16th October 2013 – some highlights for us included:

Wow! One, Zero, Zero, Zero, Zero members and rising!
Yes, Mrs Louise Cook of PwC became our 10,000th member on her visit to the pa-assist stand at Office*2013.

Here is a picture of Louise receiving her bottle of fizz from our President, Mike Caridia, to celebrate on us! More details and news in our upcoming newsletter.

Shhhh! Keep this to yourself……. latest rumour is that we are already fast approaching 11,000! More champagne anyone?

Mike Caridia, President’s latest “in the spotlight” interview with Hamish Jenkinson, Office*2013
Following on from his hugely popular Office* Keynote session with Penni Pike in 2012, the latest in Mike’s ‘in the spotlight’ interview series was Hamish Jenkinson, former PA to Madonna and Guy Ritchie and current EA to Kevin Spacey.

Hamish was incredibly entertaining, relating a number of amusing and insightful experiences of his time of working with these immensely talented, high-profile celebrities.

Our fast growing Twitter feed @panetworking announced the sponsorship of Lucy Brazier’s #adminchat – that is broadcast every Thursday at 6pm (GMT Greenwich Mean Time).

John Palmer, our CEO said, “further to our sponsorship of Lucy Brazier and Executive Secretary’s weekly #adminchat series with our partner site, we are delighted to continue our relationship with this award nominated publication.

Leading the way for VAs: BeMyVA sponsored the inaugural VA Breakfast, UK, Office*2013
Our partners, the leading independent, international directory of Virtual Assistants, sponsored the Office*2013 UK’s first VA Breakfast. In addition to coffee, tea and tasty pastries, the audience of Virtual Assistants and PAs interested in starting their own business, listened to an enlightening presentation from award winning solicitor Suzanne Dibble and received some outstanding legal business tips and “exclusive” offers to take up Suzanne’s accessible and affordable services for small business and start-up companies.

Suzanne also presented Jennie Bayliss of Office Wings Ltd., (picture on the left), the winner of the VA Breakfast prize draw with a bottle of champagne.
