Scotland VA of the Year 2017 – winners announced

The snow blizzards of January’s winter did not deter the intrepid Virtual Assistants and guests to make their challenging journeys to this year’s exclusive venue in Glasgow to celebrate the leading Virtual Assistants for Scotland 2017.

With the very best of Scotland on parade and attendees from as far afield as London and Luxembourg, the gathering of these clans celebrated the announcements and presentation of Scotland VA of the Year 2017 as follows:

Winner: Louisa Stewart of Blue Ninja Business Support www.blueninja.co.uk

Runner up: Naomi Campbell of VA Velocity www.vavelocity.co.uk

Louisa, a self-confessed digital nomad said, “A lovely surprise winning VA of the Year Scotland, I couldn’t be happier tonight!” Louisa now automatically goes forward to the final for UK Outstanding VA 2018 at the UK VA Conference on 1st March 2018, at Olympia, London, hosted by Office* Show 2018.

Naomi, a multi-award winning VA of Inverness said: “I’m rather chuffed with taking home Scotland VA of the Year Runner Up Award (2017), after a difficult year with health”. Naomi has prevously won the same award as Scotland Runner Up in 2014, and also Moray Business Women of the Year 2014. We suspect that we will see Naomi challenging again for more top business awards in the future.

Chair of the Panel of Judges, John Palmer said, “Once again we see 2 two top class Virtual Assistants as finalists. Both of these individuals clearly display the strength of entrepreneurs and are established business owners and award winners. How lucky their clients are to have such reliable and professional support for their businesses”.

John continued, “Our thanks for the continued hard work and enthusiastic support of Caroline Wylie, founder of Society of Virtual Assistants (SVA), in organising this event. We must also thank all of our Panel of Judges, including our long standing supporters and the more recent members of the team, such as multi-award winning Michelle Smith of ValueAdded Solutions.
